One of the main concepts developed was among others the Meta Exchange Model (MetaX) which is designed to connect fragmented market places, pool liquidity, increase trading volumes, and attract international investors and banks/brokers with the focus to strengthen local exchanges within a regional alliance without losing their importance for the domestic economy.

Another area we are currently working on is the CAPMEX i5 model which is a holistic approach to measure and compare the level of capital market development in different countries according to pre-defined key parameters. It will help international finance institutions and donor agencies to measure the effects and the sustainability of technical assistance programs and interventions through a standardized deviation analysis. It is also a valuable tool for governments to evaluate their status of capital market development and supports them to identify gaps, inefficiencies and potential risks.
